So where are you going?
Quran is not except a reminder to the worlds for whoever wills among you to take the right course.
On the Day of Resurrection, the two feet of the servant will not move until he is asked about four matters: about his life and how he spent it, about his body and how he used it up, about his wealth and how he earned it and where he spent it, and about his knowledge and what actions he did in accord with it.
On no soul does Allah place a burden greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns and it suffers every ill that it earns.
We showed him the way: whether he be grateful or very ungrateful (rests on his will).
“You now have a mission: to become a true believer and one who strives for the sake of Allah. As you embark upon this mission you may come to feel that your knowledge of Islam is somewhat limited or perhaps that you are unable to attain those heights of submission and purification that you desire or others expect of you. This is only natural. You must not, however, allow these feelings of personal short comings to undermine your efforts to practice Islam. Remember that Islam is a state of becoming not a state of being. Each day you must strive to improve and better yourself – and you will improve.
“Once you have committed yourself to Allah, all that you have must be spent in His way. This is the ideal. Ideals, however, are always difficult to achieve – and this you must understand and accept. Ideal always to be pursued; if they are easily and always achievable, they can hardly remain as ideals. Keeping to your side of the bargain then is an ideal that you must always seek to maintain. It is this seeking and this striving to spend all that we have in the way of Allah that is known as purification of the soul.”
He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself.
Contrary to common misconception, there are not any rituals a person must go through in order to become Muslim. If you believe that there is no deity worthy of worship except for Allah, and if you believe that Muhammad is a Messenger of Allah, and you believe this in your heart, the only thing remaining for you to becoming Muslim is to testify this on your tongue and make the intention of acting in accordance to it. All you need to say is, “I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except for Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.”
For those who return to their Lord in repentance, believe and do righteous work. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
